NITRILE | 1 ply insertion Commercial GRADE NITRILE NBR RUBBER SHEETING

1 PLY REINFORCED nitrile (NBR) rubber sheeting is a medium-grade material that combines the excellent resistance of nitrile with a 1 ply reinforcement. This provides the material with additional tear resistance and tensile strength properties for use in physically demanding applications. We can supply this material in a variety of thicknesses from 0.5mm to 40mm to suit your requirements.

Subject to minimum order quantities, we can produce custom grades, colours and finishes to your exact requirements.

The 1 ply polyester fabric reinforcement we use in our commercial nitrile rubber insertion sheeting creates a balance between cost and durability. We can also insert additional reinforcement layers as a special order for superior physical resistance. We typically supply this material for use in low to medium range applications. Our customers regularly use this material as; insulating strips, dust seals, protection pads and gaskets.

Superior Oil Resistance: Buna-N sheet rubber sheet is very popular for use in applications that see a regular presence of natural and synthetic oils and greases. Over the years, it has gained a reputation for being the go-to elastomer for any application that involves oils. Whereas other rubber materials can be damaged by oils and greases, nitrile exhibits a durable longevity when put into contact with such substances. As a result, NBR material is perfect for commercial, industrial, and automotive uses.

Flexible Rubber: Our Buna-N rubber sheet has a durometer rating of 60-65. It is a medium grade rating that means the elastomer features more flexibility and elasticity than 70 durometer rubbers. It is not the hardest rubber around, but it does have decent resistance to abrasions. However, its flexibility allows it to be better used as seals, gaskets, and bumpers for a large number of different commercial and industrial applications.

The nitrile rubber sheeting is also REACH, RoHS, PAH as well as CE Compliant.

This NBR rubber sheeting is available in a wide range of thicknesses as standard, we can also supply it in full rolls, strip cut lengths and shapes to suit your unique requirements.
